RevenueAds is hosting the second annual Oklahoma Affiliate Meetup. It will be held Friday, March 18th at 12pm at the RevenueAds Office in Midwest City, OK. If you’re anywhere near Oklahoma City I suggest making your way out there. You will definitely enjoy yourself.
I co-founded the event last year, but unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts, I will not be able to make it down there this year. Last year we had Ian Fernando and Murray Newlands give a presentation about affiliate marketing and how they got into the industry. They catered lunch and we then went out to eat followed by a fun time downtown.
This year they have John Chow coming down to speak. Ben from PlentyOfFish.com will be there as well, so if you have ANY POF question you need answered, that would be a great time to ask. I’ve heard rumors that Jonathan Volk may also be in attendance, but don’t quote me on that. I also read that they may even have an Oklahoma City Thunder player in attendance. Hopefully they make it happen!
On this year’s agenda it looks like they are again catering in lunch and will have an open bar at the office. They will also have door prizes and they had some awesome gifts. Last year, they had something Gucci they gave away and a couple bottles of Cristal. Afterwards, they have a suite at the Ford Center in downtown Oklahoma City for you to enjoy watching the Oklahoma City Thunder play the Charlotte Bobcats. Their suite will also includes an open bar and hors d’oeuvres.

I’m also banned from Google Adwords. So whoever could use $100 in free advertising on Google Adwords, have at it.
This will probably only work on a new account.

After analyzing my original post, I thought that taking a single offer and scaling it to another country was fair enough to consider it a second campaign. I also reconsidered scaling a campaign to a second traffic source and decided it should count as another campaign.
Using this method I was able to successfully scale out 27 different campaigns until early Wednesday morning on February 9th. Very few of these campaigns were profitable right off the bat, but there were a few and I was able to scale those immediately. I was able to triple my gross revenue and double my net income in those few days.
I wish I was able to continue this challenge, but unfortunately I woke up that Wednesday afternoon to find out that all my Facebook accounts were banned, including my profile. They wiped out everything related to my card that was on file. This has since decimated my earnings as I was completely focused on Facebook. So I quit keeping track of the challenge. I do know that if I had continued to keep track, I would’ve hit my goal already because I’m already promoting a handful of other offers and using a number of other traffic sources.
I’m now working on getting my income back up to acceptable levels. I’m working on other traffic sources and trying to test some stuff outside of dating.
I hope to attempt this type of challenge again soon because it was turning out very well for those first 9 days.

I was recently concentrating really heavily on one campaign and scaling it out as quickly as I could. After a couple weeks and almost 200,000 leads later, the advertiser pulled the offer from the network because it wasn’t backing out for them. They must really suck at monetization because they couldn’t get the traffic profitable in any country that I sent traffic from. I hate when you find something that works extremely well for you and it is pulled pretty quickly from you or the network as a whole. The story is they will be doing some optimization on their back end and it will return in the next couple weeks. I’ve heard this story before, but my fingers are crossed!
So now that my revenue and especially profit have taken a nosedive, I need to find some more profitable campaigns. To combat my low numbers, I’m challenging myself to create a new campaign every day for the entire month of February. This doesn’t count scaling a campaign to another gender, more ages or another traffic source. I’m talking about creating a completely new advertising campaign every single day.
I saw a blog post a day or two ago, but I can’t find it anymore, that gave me the inspiration for this post and idea. Thank you to whomever you are!
If any of my readers are experiencing lower revenue and profit figures, I challenge you to do the same! If you’re going to attempt it, leave a comment below and let me know! I’ll keep you guys updated on my progress halfway through the month and once again at the end of the month.
Edit: The inspiration came from David from PPVPlaybook.com and he is doing his own 30 Day Challenge.
